Hayward Lumber associates provide builders, architects and homeowners with services and solutions for their building projects including doors, windows and building materials needs.  Hayward has been in business since 1919 and has grown to seven locations along the California coast from Redwood City to Santa Barbara. Hayward Lumber has been family owned and operated for 100 years.


  • Provide prompt processing of customer transactions while maximizing sales potential through seeing that all products and services are supplied to the customer
  • Build and maintain positive customer relations
  • Keep check out areas neat and clean
  • Assist in customer billing

Required Skills: 

  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers and management
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
  • Well organized, able to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to work with a variety of personalities
